As the owner of The System Squad and Professional Organizer, Amy is excited to have the opportunity to embark on a second rewarding career and is tirelessly giving her all to sharing and building her organizational journey. Engaging in new experiences and changing lives via hands-on work comes naturally to her, as she has always gravitated towards jobs that enable her to make others feel welcome, help build connections with her extended community, and make spaces more functional, enjoyable, and inclusive. Before becoming an organizer, Amy owned a pediatric home care physical therapy business for fourteen years, working with the birth to three population, specializing in NICU babies. She then took time off to raise her two beautiful children, and she has since discovered her love for helping others find the unique function within their residence, their chosen aesthetic, and the joy of refiguring a system for any space. Once Amy's hunger for organizing was no longer satiated by redoing the spaces in her own home, she began searching for jobs, working for free on friends' and family's homes, spending thousands of hours getting invaluable experience, and quickly progressing to large-scale systems for full-service clients. Only a year into her new journey as a self-taught organizer, Amy was fortunate enough to be asked to collaborate with designer Becky Warton with Interior Design Studio, Hi 5 Design Lab, to work on full-service residential and corporate design and organization jobs in CO, TX, and FL. Moving on to her third year in the business, Amy has perfected her craft, grown her methods and systems, and fallen into a comfortable pace with her arsenal of collaborators. Now, she's hard at work helping you transform your space into a beautiful, functional, personal safe haven. Amy and The System Squad provide more than a system. She brings the heart, sharp focus, and eye for what matters to your project. After working with Amy, you will know that no detail is too small, and no project is too much of an undertaking. A space is never truly finished without her, and once it is finished, she will not hesitate to come back to assist you in creating more lifelong adventures.
